Chief of Kunsu (Ahafo-Ano South –Ashanti Region), Ghana.

Nana Agyemang Badu Duah I is the Chief of Kunsu (Ahafo-Ano South –Ashanti Region) in Ghana. He is also a businessman, an actor, an executive producer, a co-founder of Mesduah Foundation and a Co-Founder of Mesduah Prodution; popularly known for producing movies such as Sankofa (2015), Abubro Kosua (2019), Ahintasem (2019) and also producing suspense filled, true life story premiered in most parts of Ghana, titled MAD. Nana Agyemang Badu Duah in 2005, made his acting debut, co-starring with prolific actors and actresses like, Michael Afrane, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Mavis Adjei, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Agyemang Duah, Awo Yaa, Augustine Abbey (Idikoko), etc.

He got married to popular Ghanaian actress, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu in 2017 after they met on movie set some time back.

Nana Agyemang Badu Duah together with Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Agyemang Duah, established Mesduah Production in 2017 after a healthy and lengthy deliberation on the need of why individuals must know and acknowledge their culture and customs as people.

Nana Agyemang has four children; Kofi Sarfo Ababio, Freda Agyemang Duah, Benjamin Mcbrown (also known as Nana Agyemang Duah Jnr.) and Nana Agyemang Duah.

Having brought development to the people of Kunsu by granting most students Educational Scholarships, Maintaining School Buildings, Building New Chief’s Palace, Building Police Divisional Headquarters and providing them with potable drinking water and accessible toilet facilities, Nana Agyemang Badu Duah also championed his co-founded NGO (Mesduah Foundation) to provide support and help to over 30 less privileged individuals since its incorporation.

To always stay rejuvenated, excited and energized, he loves watching football and other sports in his spare time.

Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Agyemang Duah

Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Agyemang Duah, popularly known as Mercy Asiedu/Asabea is a Ghanaian actress, musician and co-founder of Mesduah Production – producers of Sankofa, Abubro Kosua, Ahintasem and MAD.

Mercy has over 25 years of experience on the film making industry in Ghana and is also a board member and Welfare committee chairperson of ARSOG (Actors/Actress Association of Ghana). She has worked alongside other popular Ghanaian actors and actress like, Bill Asamoah, Rose Mensah (Kyeiwaa), Vivian Jill, Agya Koo, etc.

Mercy Aseidu has also won awards both in Ghana and abroad (Canada, USA, etc.). She pioneered and captained the establishment of Film Village located in Kunsu Ahafo-Ano South District¬-Ashanti Region, which also serves as a tourist site for many. As a mother to the people of Kunsu she has helped many to acquire vocational training and also mentors individuals especially girls who want to grow up and become great actress like her.

Oheneyere Mercy Aseidu Agyeman Duah is married to Nana Agyemang Badu Duah Chief of Kunsu, executive Producer and co-founder of Mesdauh Production with (3) three children, having met in 2008 on a movie location/set.

She so much loves music and turns to it as a means of relaxation and leisure. The main desire of her is to raise more great actors and actress for the Ghanaian movies industry and also help catapult the Ghanaian movie to the highest height.



Jackson Kweku Bentum is one of the most popular award winning and best movie directors in Ghana known for directing and producing most of the biggest movie hits of all time.

With over 18years of rich experience in Film making, he has managed to work with a host of both Ghanaian and Nigerian actors and actresses like, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu agyemang Duah, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Van Vicker, Kwaku Manu, Emelia Brobbey, Bil Asamoah, Kwadwo Nkansah (lil wayne), Richard Asante (Kalybos) amongst many great industry players.

Jackson Bentum is married with three children; Akwasi Reagan Jackson (Actor), Yaa Konadu Jackson (Actress and Musician) and Kwaku Nyame Jackson (Actor).

He made his film directional debut in 2002 with “Obinim’’ and went on to direct and produce award winning and nominated movies like, Azonto Ghost, Ntafuor Tumi, Lilwayne Fisherman, Secret Rivals, Red Love, MAD, Otan ni Ahuoryaa, Mewuo Akyi, etc.

Jackson K. Bentum is the founder and CEO of Bentum 5 Pictures, which has produced over 20 movies since its establishment.

Abdul Gaffaru Abdul Rahim (GAFF)


An experienced and a multiple award winning cinematographer with over 20 years of experience in the Ghanaian movie industry.

He was born in Accra (28th October 1980) and is a single parent to Hikmatu Abdul Gaffaru.

Abdul Gaffaru has worked on both local and international projects like Mad Dog, Yvonne’s Tears, In the eyes of my husband, Die with me, Love & Lust, Honey Kuchikuchi, Azonto Ghost, Bigboy Wizzy, Sankofa, Abubro Kosua, Bloody mission, Ahintasem, et al.

He’s also worked with international and local award winning producers and production companies like Kensteve Amaka, John Izedonme, John Bosko, Paul, Mesduah productions, John F. Kennedy Frimpong, amongst many.

Aside videography, Abdul Gaffaru also works on other projects like documentaries, Music videos, Movie Directing , video editing, etc.

Nyarko Price Osei

Nyarko Price Osei (born February 11, 1986 in Nkawkaw – Eastern Region of Ghana) is a Ghanaian born Film Editor who has worked with Film Directors like, Jackson K. Bentum, Samuel Appiah (Sam Power), Johnbosto Paul, Ifeanye Ekwem, Kobi Rana, Asare Bediako among many for 17 years.

Prince started worked on his debut Film “The Lost Treasure” (2007), and edited numerous films in the subsequent years. He has received two (2) awards nominations for ‘Best Visual Effect’, ‘Best Editor’ and has won “Best Visual Effect” (2019)

Prince Osei Schooled at Nkwakwan Senior High School further proceeded to Ghallywood School and intelligent for his tertiary training. He is married to Paulina Boateng (now Mrs. Paulina Osei Nyarko) has three (children, Anigyeba Owusu Nyarko, Daniel Besiw Boateng and Animonyamba Ayeyi Serwaa Nyarko.

Prince has worked on many award nominated and popular movies like, Azonto Ghost, Bloody Mission, Big Boy Wizzie, Handsome Paddies, MAD, the List, Metanfo Berma, Chef Nkansah, Ghetto Hero, Sankofa, Abubro Kosua, Ahintasem, etc.

Aside Film Editing, Prince is well equipped and knowledgeable in Graphic Design, Visual Effect, Film Directing and Animation, whereas he also enjoys listening to music, watching movies and watching football at his leisure time.

Barbara Anayah Ananty Ayakwah


Barbara Anayah Ananty Ayakwah (born in Koforidua – Eastern Region; December 24, 1987) is a Ghanaian actress known for “Old Lady/Granny’’ roles with over 13years of experience in Film Acting, Script Writing, Cast Directing and Film Production Management.

She made her debut in 2007, starring in ‘’Abro ne Beyie’’ produced by Miracle Films. Barbara went on to feature in multiple movies like, Me Judge Akasa, Otootaba, Good Mother, Sir John, Ghetto Life, Abubro Kosua, Ahintasem, MAD, Asumafuor, Mogya Kawa, amongst many.

Among her co-stars in her multiple movies are Nana Ama Mcbrown, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Agyemag Duah, Kwaku Manu, Agya Koo, Kwadwo Nkansah, Bernard Nyarko, Bill Asamoah, Akrobeto, Akyere Bruwaa, Christiana Awuni, Rose Mensah (Kyeiwaa), etc.

She joined Mesduah Production after meeting Co-Founder, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu Agyemang Duah on a film location in 2007 and they both created a mother-daughter relationship till date.

Barbara is also the CEO of Bayakwah Production and trading –traders in Jewelries, ladies bags and footwear.

She holds higher aspirations of owning a bigger production like Mesduah Production and working with multiple awarding winning Hollywood actor and producer, Tyler Perry.

Barbara loves swimming, listening to music and watching movies during her leisure.
